Nathaniel Tureaud Sr’s Children

As mentioned earlier, Nathaniel had 13 children; most of them, their names or stories have not been mentioned, except Gustave Tero and Mr T.

Gustave Tero, Nathaniel’s son, was born in Illinois on June 21, 1947. Mr T- Nathaniel Tureaud Sr’s son

Laurence Tureaud, Nathaniel’s son, famously known as Mr T, was born on May 21, 1952, in Illinois, United States of America. He is an actor and a professional wrestler. As an actor, he has made appearances in many shows such as; The A-Team, Rocky III, I Pity the Fool, Rocky Balboa, and Freaked, among many others.

When Laurence Tureaud was five, his father,  Nathaniel, left, and he decided to shorten his name to Laurence Tero. When he turned 18, he legally changed his name to Laurence T. Mr T  based  his name on his childhood impressions regarding the lack of respect for his family  from white people, and felt people would respect him if the first word uttered by anyone when saying  his name was ‘’Mr.’’

In his education, Mr T attended Dunbar Vocational High school, where he studied martial arts, played football, and wrestled. For his wrestling career, he was a tag-team partner of Hulk Hogan at the World Wrestling Federation’s WrestleMania I, which they won. Nathaniel Tureaud’s son went on to do well in the world of wrestling, and on April  5, 2014, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s celebrity wing.

Nathaniel Tureaud Sr’s son, Mr T, was diagnosed with cancer in 1995, that is, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and he has often joked about it; funny enough, he has written a book about it, titled “Cancer Saved My Life.’’
