Her parents had met each other when Louis was stationed as a correspondent in Germany. The family initially lived in Frankfurt and later moved to the United States, choosing to settle in California. Margit is the proud sister of the famous Nicole Brown Simpson, born on May 19, 1959. Margit has 4 more sisters named Denise Brown, Tanya Brown, Dominique Brown, and Wendy Kirk; and 2 brothers, Tracy Brown and Rolf Baur.
